Broadway’s Hit Comedy Scheduled for

Hollywood, CA – May 30, 2007 – Rick Najera’s hit comedy LATINOLOGUES has been added to the 2007 Sí Tv Latino Laugh Festival for a performance on Friday June 22, 2007 at the Ricardo Montalbán Theatre in Hollywood, CA. Latinologues is a hilarious compilation of sharp comedic monologues about Latino life in America, written, created and directed for stage by award-winning sketch comedy writer/actor Rick Najera. All proceeds of the 2007 Latino Laugh Festival will benefit First Star, a non-profit organization that works to improve change in the U.S. child welfare system to increase the level of protection and support all children deserve.
The three-day Latino Laugh Festival, hosted by George Lopez, will present the best Latino comedians in the industry such as Cheech Marin, Paul Rodriguez and Gabriel Iglesias and will feature more than twenty-five performances at eight prime venues. Latinologues, a sketch comedy sensation, which recently ran on Broadway directed by Cheech Marin, is the only Latino showcase of its kind in America with a rotating cast.
Rick Najera and LATINOLOGUES will perform on Friday June 22 @ 8:00 p.m. at the Ricardo Montalbán Theatre (1615 N. Vine Street, Hollywood, CA 90028).
